I woke up this morning, realizing I forgot to take a photo yesterday. Ackkkk!!! Ughhhh....NOOOOO! D a n g i t! -nothing i can do to change it....so NOT happy!

But.....I’m NOT going to let it affect me and my momentum- no way!

I’m just inserting this doodle of me as a replacement....

yes, I will move on and get over it ....after I eat a a box of Krispie Creme...and some more sugary coffee....

Plum Flower Beanie

Had the itch to knit last night. I saw this and fell in love. Mine is a little smaller than I‘d like and I LOVE the stripey wool yarn of the original but i was in the mood , it was night time, and I just wanted to use what was in my stash! Don’t you just love the picot edging? I think this is what grabbed me, along with the simple embroidered flowers. I’ve never done this type of edging and i have to say it was soooo easy! Such an easy and simple design but the details are what makes me all happy happy! I think i knitted this in the time it takes to watch a movie! LOVE these kind of projects!

and for the sake of yumminess....a glimpse of my yarn just waiting to be played with....

Collab and Confetti!

I’m so excited to share my new collab kit with the amazing Lili of Designs by Lili! I just adore her style! We had so much fun with the colors and of course theme! I think we all need to scrap more about ourselves. It’s soooo hard to do, i know! For me, it’s mostly about the photo! Hate pictures of myself! I’m trying, though, slowly, to creep em in..... So go out and talk yourself up! This reminds me of an
Effer Dare where you totally talk yourself up -it was in their book, We Dare You. I LOVED reading their journaling! I’m so gonna do this this weekend! You too? Awesome!

I also wanted to share a couple more new products I’m really excited about too! I LOVE bokeh...who doesn’t right? Well I thought, how fun would it be to maybe create an overlay to sorta mimic it? Well here’s the result...I think their so fun! There’s 6 different overlays- you can resize them, recolors them, overlap them, and go crazy with the different blending modes.... I love them and hope you do too! I even made a heart “bokeh” volume....check em out here!

Cuteness

Cute,right? This is just up my alley as far as embroidery projects. I sewed 5 (one is missing-didn’t have another button) in probably under 2ish hours and made them into buttons in under 5 minutes! EEKKK-their so tiny! 7/8 of an inch! Totally cute cute cute! If you want to embroider something and haven’t made a button, ya gotta try it! This was my first time making a button too. Oh where have i been?

The images are actually from a Stampin Up stamp set, A Little Love, I’ve had. I was brave and just stamped them right onto my fabric and stitched away.....

Bella: Keeper of the Floss

This is Bella, my fluffy calico. She has a thing for floss- what cat doesn’t? I can not sit down to knit or embroider without her sitting on my supplies. It’s kinda cute at first until you need to grab something and she about shreds your hand to pieces. I’ve officially called her The Keeper of the Floss....

and really, how could you resist this? Am I really the only one with a love affair with my floss box?

If I were a cat, this would be my heaven....

and this is one thing i made today.....show you tomorrow what i’m gonna do with it!
